Update on our
Single Malt Whisky
& a Holiday
We have some bittersweet news to share
Thanks to the remarkable response from the fans of our Single Malt Whisky, our distribution warehouses have been officially depleted. For most liquor stores, that means what’s on the shelf right now is the last that they have, and the last they’ll receive. Our limited edition Inaugural Run Single Malt Whisky just became a whole lot more limited. If you’re able to make a trip to our distillery storefront, we’ll remain stocked until the winter. But if you’re in Vancouver and were thinking our whisky would be perfect for a Christmas party or gift (hint: it would), you should check our where to buy list and get a bottle or three while you still can.
The reception of our Single Malt Whisky since its release back in May has been joyously overwhelming. We’ve received early praise from whisky experts around the world who call us a distillery to look out for. We’ve been humbled by the response from local communities and the people who have returned to our distillery time and time again, showing off our facilities and spirits to new friends and family each visit. And we’ve even been honoured enough to receive an international award which put us among the ranks of legendary Scotches.
The sweet news is that we’ll be releasing a distiller’s select cask strength whisky for the extreme connoisseurs. It’s a double grain blend of our Shelter Point Single Malt Whisky and a Canadian rye, and it’s finished in a French oak port cask. This special edition whisky will be our first cask-strength release, and limited to only 1000 bottles. Keep your ears perked and your glasses ready for its release this holiday season; you’re going to want this one to warm your throat for the winter.
Thanks always for your love and support, from the Shelter Point team.
